Sewing Project: Butterfly Pillow

Hello Internet!

About a year ago I bought this sewing kit from Micheal’s craft store but never got around to making until now!

So today I’ll show you how I made it, and I’ll like rate the product over all!

This was everything inside. I don’t know if you can tell, but the instructions are only pictures, with no captions or anything.. And its one of those kid friendly projects were all the holes that you need to sew through are pre-punched out and they give you a plastic needle…

So the first step was to sew these two little petal like things together. (you can see here the holes that they pre-punch out for you)

Then, I had to sew these things together. wow. so descriptive.

Next I had to sew the green part onto the blue background sort of piece and sew TWELVE FREAKING CIRCLES on the blue part. That was fun. *sarcasm*

Then I sewed a big blue piece to the back and filled it with stuffing!

Overall it wasn’t that bad. It was not good quality at all, but it made what it said it was going to make. The most annoying thing about all of this was this.

THE ONLY WAY TO ATTACH THE GREEN PART WAS DOWN THE MIDDLE SO THEY STILL LIKE FLAPPED AND IT WAS VERY VERY ANNOYING!!!!

So my rating of this product out of 10 would be a 6. because I feel like being nice today. Otherwise it would probably be a 4.5. You can get this if you want but like, don’t set your expectations to high.
